My God provides

So.....We have been in California for 5 weeks now. That sounds crazy. The Lord has provided us with an apartment. A spacious, cheap apartment! I could hardly believe it. The Lord is so good. I also have a part time job sitting with an elderly woman and Jeff is doing some handyman work , got a job at a hardware store, and has an audition with an event cover band next week. We have not had our own place in a year and it feels so good to have our own private space to retreat again.

So...that is it for now. All Glory, Honour, and Praise to the Father and the Lamb!!!!

OH PRAISE HIM!!! ALLELUIA!!!

He is our Yahweh- Yireh! My God provides!

Holding onto God's promises in a time of uncertainty!

O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! Habbakuk 1:2

Although we do not live in a culture quite like Habakkuk did, many in the middle east can probably understand this passage in ways that we cannot. Sometimes we are stuck asking the Lord, "HOW LONG!!" How long will you allow the violence to go on? How long must we wait for your coming? How long must we wait, not knowing what is going to happen next in our own personal circumstances? Even while we wait, we have many promises we can hold onto. The bible is filled with them, and as the Church we can rely on them even when in a time of uncertainty.

Romans 8:1-2 I am free forever from condemnation.

Romans 8:28 I am assured that all things word together for good.

Romans 8:35 I cannot be separated from the Love of God.

Colossians 3:3 I am hidden with Christ in God

II Timothy 1:7 I have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.

I John 5:18 I am born of God, and the evil one cannot touch me.

These are only a few of the thousands of promises breathed by The Lord God Almighty that we can stand on in these perilous times.

Please pray for the saints all over the world who are being persecuted for the name of Christ. May the Lord bless them and keep them and make his face to shine upon them.

All glory, praise, and honor to the One who sits on the throne and at His right hand.

Come Lord Jesus Come!!

Y'shua/Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man come to the father but by me."

The Lord Y'shua/Jesus is the only way to the one True God, whose name is Yahweh. He is the Most High God and is a loving God. I never experienced freedom until I experienced it in Christ. If you have never experienced true freedom and want to know what it's all about here is the salvation plan. Please read it and send us a message if you would like to talk more about it!

God says in order to go to Heaven, you must be born again. In John 3:7, Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Ye must be born again."

In the bible, God gives us the plan of how to be born again which means to be saved. His plan is simple! You can be saved today. How? First, you must realise you are a sinner. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) This includes eternal seperation from God in Hell. "..it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement" (Hebrews 9:27) But God loved you so much he gave his only begotten Son, Y'shua/Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. "For he hath made him who knew no sin to be sin for us...that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21) Y'shua/Jesus had to shed his blood and die. "For the life of the flesh is blood" (Leviticus 17:11) "....without shedding of blood is no remision (pardon)" (Hebrews 9:22) "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8) Although we can not understand how, God said my sins and your sins were laid upon Y'shua/Jesus and he died in our place. He became our substitute. It is true. God cannot lie. "God... now cammandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) This repentence is a change of mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and also agrees with what Y'shua/Jesus did for us on the cross. In Acts 16:30-31, the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas: "...Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.." Simply believe on him as the one who bore your sin, died in your place, was buried, and whom God resurrected. His resurrection powerfully assures that the believer can claim everlasting life when Y'shua/Jesus is recieved as Savior. "But as many as recieved him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13) If you have never asked Christ to come into your heart and transform you into his likeness, there is no garauntee you will be here another day and you should repent, which means turn to God, and believe on the one who was sent for the forgiveness of your sins. For this is the only certain way to heaven. If you have never prayed a sinner's prayer here is and example. You can put it in your own words or just pray this one. There is no right way to pray, God hears you and knows your heart.

"Oh, God, I know I am a sinner. I believe Y'shua/Jesus was my substitute when he died on the cross. I believe his shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me. I now recieve him as my Saviour. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins, the gift of salvation and everlasting life, because of your merciful grace. Amen"

Just take God at his word and claim his salvation by faith. Believe, and you will be saved. No church, no lodge, no good works can save you. Remember God does the saving. If you just prayed the sinner's prayer for the first time then the next step is to find a spirit led group of bible believing christians to help guide you and pray with you and love you with God's love. Read your bible daily and pray to God without ceasing. He hears all your prayers and knows everything you need. All he wants is a relationship with you. He created you and loves you and wants you to live your life according to his purpose for you. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
