Back on the trail in Peebles

Tammy was such a blessing and we cannot wait to be in her company again. Bill, the brother from the church we attended with the Averwater's, drove us to the little town of Sinking Springs, popultation 130! Bill felt a little nervous dropping us off in the middle of town on the side of the road but he said he knew that is what we do and he gave us a hug and prayed for us. As we watched him drive off, we were so grateful to have met him. A nice fellow on his ATV told us where everything in town was and pointed us to the mayors house. We knocked on the door and nobody answered so we walked to the other church in town, Grace Bible Chirch, and nobody was there so we found the community center where there was a kids gymnastics class going on. The teacher just so happened to be a member of the Grace Bible Church and called to make arrangements for us to stay there. As we were sitting on the porch of the church reading the bible and picking out grass burrs a woman and her children from across the street came over and said hello. They were the preacher man's son's family. A few minutes later the preacher man's son came over and asked if we would like to come over for hot chocolate and a warm meal. We took them up on the offer and were so glad we did. After meeting them for a while we all gathered around the piano and sang hymns for at least an hour. His wife was a terrific piano player. Once we sang through everyone's favorite hymns we decided to call it a night and head over to the church and get some shut-eye!
The next morning we walked to Serpent's Mound which is a Native American effigy site where New Agers go to worship creation during the summer solstice. We decided to read God's Holy word while sitting at the serpent's head!! We walked another 5 miles to a community called Louisville and camped at a little white church. We looked at the maps and decided we have a decision to make. We can stay on the Buckeye Trail and it will take 111 miles to get to Williamsburg or we can get off the Buckeye Trail and it will only take 30 something miles. So we are praying about that right now as I type this. So if you read this on Wednesday October 6th feel free to pray that God would give us direction on this matter.
May the Lord bless all our readers and keep them, and make his face to shine upon them!!
